Curriculum Vita


Associate Professor and Chair of Interior Architecture at Ohio University. Native Chicagoan with a background in Painting and Photography from the Art Institute of Chicago (BFA) and Art Theory and Practice from Northwestern University (MFA). An artist-academic interested in the geometric/cultural relationships of interiors, architecture, patterns, space and paintings. Theoretical interests have generated an ongoing body of visual work and publications presented in both juried and non-juried exhibitions and publication venues. Strong academic experience working with Interior Design and Fine Arts curricula, developing classes, mentoring students (graduate, undergraduate and honors), mentoring faculty, coordination of program management, participation in three CIDA Accreditation sight visits, as well as the development and execution of study abroad programs.
